About the Author
Susanne has worked with Waterstones, children’s magazine Kaleidoscope and independently to provide book readings and workshops throughout the year and is the author of best selling The Donkey’s First Christmas. She has worked in publishing since leaving Copenhagen in 2006 and now lives on the Wirral with her husband and two boys of 15 and 12. She holds an honours degree in English Lit, Sports Science and Art, an MA in Children’s Illustration and is a qualified child educator (pedagog).
As well as continuing to create content for video productions, Susanne is currently working on her own apps for children: Freaky Facts Of The Solar System, Guess Zoo and on the rest of the children’s picture book Unlikely Heroes series.
Susanne’s passion to communicate potentially difficult subject matters and concepts in a way children can relate to and therefore become excited about is one of the main driving forces behind her work.
